820-3332-A (SMC_LRESET_L) 0.023V (green light on charger)

This is my first time working on this model board.
I have all the S5 rails but S4 is another story.

PM_SLP_S4_L = 0
PP3V3_S4 = 0.34

U5750 = PP3V42_G3H is present, Nothing else is but SMC_RST_TPAD_L

U7970
PM_SLP_S5_L = 0
SMC_S4_WAKESRC_EN = 0
Pin 6 power is present.
(no PP3V3_S4 enable)

At this point I am not sure if I am dealing with a SMC or a PCH issue.
Door #1 PM_SLP_S5_L missing
Door #2 SMC_S4_WAKESRC_EN

Probably because it's S5 Door #1
U1800 = PPVRTC_G3H =3.42v

No signs of liquid damage.

*Installing R7803 to bypass the missing PP3V3_S4 enable gets me nowhere. The board still does not power up.

Do you get both 3V3_S5/SUS?
Did you try original 85W charger?
Is PM_RSMRST_L high?
If yes, check if PM_PWRBTN_L reacts (drop pulse) when trigger SMC_ONOFF_L.

"PP3V3_SUS_EN_L 3.3v"
Should be 0V (P3V3SUS_EN_L); remember what "_L" means.
Post SMC_BATLOW_L and PM_SLP_SUS_L.

Check the charger power reported by other macine.
Usually low PM_BATLOW_L is caused by unproper charger.
Check if battery is charging at least.
If yes, give it some time to charge and try to start with charger and battery connected.

I do not have a frame for this board at all. Was given to me in a eBay purchase as a bonus. I have been spending the day going through boards I need to fix or put in donor pile.

Reflow/reaball/change SMC; if charger is OK for sure.
SMC should send out correct SMC_BATLOW_L.
BTW, R5040 is good?
