ok , i lost green light all together and developed a short on pp3v42 so i injected 3.4v into the line and the smc started to get hot, changed the smc and now i have green light back that now turns to orange after a few seconds and the fans spin up for a second then turn off and spin up again , SMC_RESET_L is 3.2v if thats still any relevance
Could be anything. You also need to wonder how the SMC died. Probably voltage spike on 3v42 from you shorting something out. Damage could be extensive now on the 3V42 rail too.
12.48 is not a normal voltage. It should either be 12.56 or 12.3. But not that important right now as it should turn on with 12.48. CPU Vcore not coming up can be absolutely anything. I suspect 3V42 went high and everything on that rail could be bad. Clock chip is the first suspect that could also affect CPU Vcore.
