Doesn't turn on without charger. After turning on with a charger connected, when disconnected from the charger works perfectly on battery. Any ideas?

Battery recognized in OSX and condition reported as "normal"?
What is the voltage on PPBUS_G3H with the charger connected and battery disconnected?
Was this liquid spill?

Thanks for replying. The board has experienced water damage, was ultrasonic cleaned and shows no visible signs of oxidation. Battery is recognized in OS X and shows no faulty alert.
Measured voltage on PPBUS_G3H with the charger connected and battery disconnected is 6.7-7.3 V

It's not, we have tested it with different all working batteries

Sorry I thought I read the battery did report a fault.
Seems to me this may be the sense resistors around isl6259, r7051/52/21/22 or the traces. PPBUS on adapter without battery should be 8.4V
