820-3435 Works normally but always auto-starts.

I can't remember, or never figured out, what causes this. The board will boot and work off battery normally, but will autostart every time I plug it in. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I think this is a joke, but if not, that is normal. Every i5 and i7 board will autostart when plugged in

Ha, I see what you're saying. No, it was auto-starting even with a known-good battery installed. It was charging the battery and working normally, but auto-starting every time you disconnect and reconnect the MagSafe.

Yes, I booted into OS X successfully multiple times. After doing a PRAM reset however it doesn't boot anymore. The fan is now just spinning up and down continuously.
