Did you verify the feedback lines when the 8550 was off the board? Did you use a new 8550?

no i do not have any new ones i pulled 8550 from another board

I just ordered new ones, I also measured before and after D7701 with 8550 off, I receive 8.54V on both sides

The new LP8550s come pre balled. You may not have enough solder on all of the pins of the pulled LP8550. I'm having similar issue...just waiting on the new LP8550s so I can test the issue before posting a thread about it.

Reballing the lp8550 requires a level of skill not worth investing for a chip that is $1.61 new with balls. Try again with new chip.
