Are you using the same SMC or just some random one?

random ones pulled from dead boards i bought on AliExpress..already swapped it 3 times..but who knows..maybe all 3 were bad? does this issue sound like a faulty SMC? i've got about 10 macbook repairs under my belt so im not very familiar with symptoms...

Typically when PPBUS is low like that the SMBUS data lines cause it which a lot of the times is the SMC pulling it down. In your case, it's a weird one.

If I pull the SMC off again and Diode Mode each pin and post here would that help?

You have to use the same SMC from the same board number!!!! No wonder it doesnt work!

SMC is not running at all as 3v3_S5 is also missing now. In previous post you said G2_EN was present so at that point the SMC was running so something has been messed up or your recalling is no good. Check for knocked off components around SMC and check your recalling method. This is certainly a problem in the SMC area.
