But you need a proper lab PSU, or other known good original power supply.
Proper tools are needed to discard problems like this.
If you set your actual lab PSU to 3A, should be sufficient, but I'm not sure; no idea about a current profile on this board.
But with the tools that I have now and the behavior that happens. Sometimes it turns on and works and other it doesn´t (So I assume when working everything is working I mean all voltages / power rails).
I do think it could be a tiny component like a resistor not working properly and it all that we´ve got. But
Do you think it could be a PSU issue? If so I am going to be a brand new PSU for this iMac. but really hope to solve this problem
Why don't you get first a 24V/20A lab PSU first?
