820-4924-a running slow

[TBFix]

The board was liquid damaged around the lcd connector and was replaced and running fine then began to run slow. It pauses at the loading bar for a long while then goes into the OS but lags. The fan does not spin in the OS but spins in diagnostic mode. I have ran diagnostic mode and it passes with no errors. Hwinfo says Airport proximity and Heatpipe outgoing air are both 129c. Also reflowed Smc.

The fan starts ONLY when CPU gets really hot, as normal behaviour for this board.

Disconnect webcam and check if still low.
If yes, try another tackpad flex/board.

I have tried the webcam cable still the same. I have tried another same model board in the assembly with the same ssd and it runs fine. Hwinfo doesnt have the heatpipe outgoing @129c only the airport proximity.

Remove RIO board and inspect the top side for corrosion.
Try another RIO flex/board.
Don't forget about trackpad too.

Start in diagnostic mode, for more information.

As mentioned I tried another working board in the same assembly and there were no issues. And as mentioned diagnostic mode did not throw up any errors so it has to be on the board itself.

Check U5870 area.
Compare diode mode readings with good board.

Nothing found there, I forgot to mention it take a very long time for the loading progress bar to finish.

Try clean ME BIOS, just in case.

As mentioned earlier, Already tried that and tested with new clean dump.

I dont have a medusa.I used clean Image

Where did you get the image?
You said cleaned original first and tried another file at the end.

I got the clean image from the forum.

Try another clean BIOS, just in case.
Upload original BIOS, to clean it.

Hi laggy performance and loading bar speed is still the same.

Is there an ASD for this model ?

No ASD since 2015.
Only an AASP can run AHT.

Replace U5870 and Q5871.
Resolder associated components and check traces continuity.

Did PRAM reset?
