Replaced top case MacBook Pro 4924 liquid spill on trackpad. Also replaced Right IO board cause when connected with cable 821-1790-A machine will not boot.
Tried 2 cables.
I believe there is a short on logic board related to J9510. Any Clues?
Thanks
Beep the none grounded pins on the connector to ground and see if any beep then you will know if there is a short on the connector and it will be a starting point. You could also bet all surrounding caps to ground to see if there are any shorts in the line any of these caps are on that will be another starting point. If nothing beeps, then connect the flex to it and beep again to look for any differences. It could just be the connector in some way, if you can find a replacement you can just remove the old connector then beep again for shorts then fit a different one and beep again.
