unfortunately i dont have access to that at all. i live in small town iowa so nothing for hours away. i replaced the smc with another and im gettting the exact same problem
im thinking this has got to be an smc issue. even if i short smc_lid to ground on the resistor before the smc the screen still fails to turn off. thinking i got screwed on these smcs. i got reballed ones just to make it easier on myself since i dont have anything to hold the chip as i reball but in any case, things that are smc related that were working before arent now.
