A1278 820-3115-B safe mode

Hi,

I have an A1278 820-3115-B that only boots in safe mode, and I don´t know where to start.

After login the screen starts to freeze, and shows some strage things (seams like GPU problem), and in safe mode it logins in a normal way and works well.

With an external disk and other OS it has the same behavier

Can you help?

Install Windows and check if crashes when install graphics driver.

You can also run ASD OS version for detailed information.

Hi,

It installed windows 10, but it has a strange behavior. It seams that it has some kind of GPU problem, because the image freezes, and gets stuck for a while continually.

Try one RAM module at time, each slot.
If still the same, iGPU problem.
You can try to reflow CPU...
