A1398 EMC 2910 battery problems

Hi,
MacBook came in for battery replacement.
With the new battery (A1618, 11.36V, 99.5W, 8755mAh) installed, the MacBook powers on for a minute ore two and then shuts off.
After shutting off it will not turn on again.
Unplugging the battery doesn't help.

But now comes the weird thing:
Leaving the MacBook for some days with battery unplugged and then trying to start it with unplugged battery, the MacBook will start normally and keep working.

Faulty battery or do I need to check somewhere else?

You should test with known good battery, even old one.
"New" chinese batteries can cause weird issues.

Thanks. With old working battery, the MacBook is doing fine.
I will try a new replacement battery, which hopefully does not cause same weird problem.
