The laptop had drinking alcohol spilled on it. Cleaned the board with (isopropyl) alcohol, replaced the keyboard, a week later it's dead with no power.
When you plug in a charger, the LED on the charger lights up green. If I disconnect the battery from the motherboard and then plug the charger in, the charger lights orange. (Reverse of expected light behavior???)
PP3V42_G3H rail as tested at keyboard connector (J4800) is at 3.40V.
I don't see any corrosion at either end of the ribbon cable going to the DC IN board. Replacing the board had no effect.
What should I test first? Thanks!
