A1466 820-00165 No Magsafe

No MagSafe light.
Drawing 2-3 Amps.
Getting 16V in PPDCIN Fuse.
PP3V42 is 2.7V
No Corrosion or anything.


Tried Different Small Board and Flex.
Replaced D7012. Still the same.

Still low voltage disconnecting LIO flex, SSD and airport?

Diode 3v42_g3h is .332 diode to ground.
Disconnected all 3 . Still low voltage.

Reballed SMC. Still same.

PPBUS_G3H voltage?

Check SMC (2 OF 2) power rails and signals (page 37).
Play with Ra/Rb (page 49) and try to adjust 3V42_G3H.

PPBUS is 0.7V
All Power Rails an Signal on Page 37 have good diode mode to ground readubgs,

What should i do with Ra and Rb. I mean replace R7095/96 with higher or lower resistance resistors ?

R7096 is 1.2V

As per formula mentioned on the page, Ra/Rb controls output voltage.
Enough to modify one resistor...
