A1466 macbook air 13, show battery in status bar, and no trackpad

it had a shorted cap near the cpu, and a burnt fuse, fixed, works

needs new battery though it wont charge, tried with another battery it works, but i cannot check the show battery status in menu bar, that shows up then right away goes away nad unchecks, and i want to change setting for the trackpad it says no trackpad but actually that works

after OSX reinstall its the same

Is better to contact a magician, he will surely know what components you changed and what board you have on the desk...

If you really think to receive usefull help with such information provided, I'm afraid you need to have lot of patience.

What happens if you measure PPBUS_G2H when battery gets unchecked?
Trackpad issue appears at the same time?

You must be the first interested to post usefull information, in order to get proper help...

macbook air have a very typical issue, i fixed many of those with this problem , looks u havent got the chance to meet this issue yet...

820-00165 board, one of the the buffering cap C7377 burnt out, taking the G3H F7140 fuse out, very typical issue

i fixed those two, and now its in the aforementioned state, and i dont see water on the board

hmm, interesting, there is a wine damaged A1278, running 10.13, that is doing the same thing,m wont charge, and says the trackpad is not connected, but the trackpad actually works....
