A1466 power button issue

Hi, i have 820-00165 board that not starting from power button. The board works good when it starts from charger and since it started, it works even without charger, but it powering on only if i plug in cable. Power button is working fine, it can turn off machine but not turn it on.

Check SMC_LID signal.
Test if turns on with J9500 disconnected.

SMC_LID diode mode reading 0.745
SMC_LID voltage 3,4v
Disconnected j9500 - same result

Possibly bad SMC.
Remove it and check SMC_ID line continuity until its pad underneath.
There may be corrosion also.
If all good, replace SMC.

Well it really was corrosion, found rossmans video about similar issues so I checked touchpad and it was corrosion on touchpad connector. Replaced connector and it’s working great now.
