A1534 - Problems after battery replacement

Hello,

I replaced the battery (Battery Model A1705) for my Macbook 12" 2017 (Macbook Model A1534 - EMC 3099). After battery replacement, the trackpad and keyboard and audio no longer work and laptop speed is slower than before replacement and only the power button is working well.

Result of Macbook Diagnostics: PFM006 and PPN001

To fix it, I just purchased a replacement for all flat cables such as keyboard and trackpad, LCD, audio, power and replaced all flats cables with care, The Issue not resolved, so I purchased a replacement trackpad and keyboard and replaced them carefully, But the issue is still not resolved.

By research, I found out the reason for the slow speed of the laptop is maybe the CPU on SMC mode and not using all power for safety and protection, As the keyboard is not working, I can not do SMC reset, I just connected the external keyboard and mouse, they are working well, tried to do SMC via external keyboard but it seems not possible or maybe I do not know how to do it exactly.

By the way, with the SMC reset my issue may still remain, So if you have any experience with this issue or if you have any recommendation and solutions please let me know.

Thank you.

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Is the new battery recognized and charging?
Does the macine works on battery alone?

Check for knocked off components near all connectors you've touched.
Test the machine removing webcam flex.

Hello,

Yes, new battery recognized and charging ,
Yes, Working on battery alone.

I replaced all flat cables and also keyboard and trackpad and also installed latest macOS but no chance.

Currently audio, keyboard, trackpad not working and and Macbook speed too slow (maybe for safety).

Is there any temp sensor on it and cpu uses half power to prevent high usage and temp?

Before battery replacement everything was good.

Any suggestion?

"Any suggestion?
-------------
Test the machine removing webcam flex."
Or disconnect internal video connector and test with external monitor.

Some temp sensor isn't detected by SMC, or some device connected in the same bus blocks the communication.

Hello,

I just disconnected LCD flat cable and turned on again, but no chance.

Followings are done without any help:

- REPLACED TRACKPAD/KEYBOARD FLAT CABLE (TWO TRY)
- REPLACED AUDIO FLAT CABLE (TWO TRY)
- REPLACED USB FLAT CABLE (TWO TRY)
- REPLACED KEYBOARD
- REPLACED TRACKPAD
- RE-INSTALLED MAC OS AND UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION
- DISK UTILITY (FIRST AID DONE)
- DISCONNECTED LCD FLAT CABLE AND CONNECTED TO EXTERNAL MONITOR
- SMC RESET NOT POSSIBLE AS BUILT IN KEYBOARD NOT WORKING, TRIED WITH EXTERNAL KEYBOARD DID NOT HELP

it may need fix something on logic board, something like temp sensor or etc,....but not sure.

any experience with Result of Macbook Diagnostics: PFM006 and PPN001 ?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Non working TP/KB and system slow points to trackpad connectiom problem.
Be sure to get correct voltages at trackpad connector.

BTW, is time to post 820-xxxxx code of your board...

If one code looks like one above mentioned, we don't need another more.
So, do you have schematic/boardbiew for 820-00045?
If not, should be posted on the forum; do a search for it.

Post J4801 voltages; pins 9, 21, 23, 41.
Use components from the same power rails as test points.

Actually I did not find printer part number (PPN) on board, But I'm sure about APN: 661-07863, In internet showing this APN must be 820-00045 (but there is no printer part number on board)

Here is photos of board:

and here is is schematic and boardview for 820-00045:

Please take a look.

I wonder where did you see CD3215 chip in that schematic; your board has it.

I bet you have 00687 board (2017); my error about 00609 before.
You can use 00244 schematic/boardview, as closest one; nothing available for 00687.

"Post J4801 voltages; pins 9, 21, 23, 41.

All A1534 has the same TP connector; so that recomendation is still valid.

Hello,

I have plan to test board for today,
Do you have any recommendation for more tests?
such as
SMC Chip: TM4EA231H6ZXRI
BANJO - PMIC Control Chip: SN650839
Connector: 502250-8041 (J4801)
Connector: CFPA342-0250F (J8500)

Please list all required tests + pin numbers + right voltage for each one if you have it ready.

Thank you.
