A1706 mid 2017 no keyboard

Hi to all you nice people
I have a 820-00239 board with a non working keyboard , all keys (I mean all) are not responding . The board is like new , no corrosion or oxidation at all . I have seen these boards with some keys not working
or sticky or .... but never with a complete keyboard totally non responsive .
I replaced the keyboard cable just in case but that didnt help .
On the keyboard connector J4500 I have measured the following :
PP5V_S0_KBD = 5V
PP3V3_G3H = 3.31 V
PP3V3_S4 = 3.31 V

Any help how to proceed is much appreciated ... I have still hard time accepting all of the keyboard just gave up , I think it is possible but ....

Trackpad works, only no keyboard?

Before login into OSX, still no keyboard?
Try to access boot menu.

Keyboard connects with trackpad and communication with PCH is done through trackpad circuitry.
So try known good trackpad board/flex too.

yes thats the confusing part , the trackpad works great . Before osx same thing no keyboard , tried to reset smc but nothing ......

Check all traces between TP and KB connectors.

Also,

took me a day to find another trackpad cable (corona is making it difficult) and just got it and replaced it with a new and exactly the same result .....
I would hate to (try) to replace the keyboard in this model it looks really like a whole night job and the result is not given as I understood from some
that have tried it .....
Still the trackpad works and the keyboard nada .....

This keyboard has electronic circuitry embedded on it.
Is the only thing remained to try/change.
