Hi guys,

as in the Title the MacBook does turn un but requires to connect to a Wifi. After that it tries to install something and aborts it.

I somehow managed it to boot into MacOS via Holding down Shift left. Then the Macbook started to let me go trough the "first installation cycle". It was VERY slow. And by VERY slow i mean VERY VERY slow. After first installation and adding user and stuff i noticed that the TouchBar did not work.

Could you give me some advice what to do next ?

Greetings and many Thanks in Advance !

You've started in safe mode and touchbar driver wasn't loaded.

Start in diagnostic mode and see if any error pops up.

If i know any further info about Diagnostics i will continue this thread !:) Thanks !!!

Apple says something about storage device.

Disconnect internal LCD and test with external monitor.
Or just disconnect webcam from T-CON and test with internal LCD.

You can also start in Target Disk mode and check the SSD integrity from other machine.

But what has Webcam and LCD to do with internal storage?

In target Disc Mode the SSD does not appear on another Device.

Bad ALS can cause the critical update error.
Is basic to test disconnecting the webcam in such case.

Did you try another connection cable?
Also try connecting on all USB-C ports.

USB macOS works good?

Could you tell me how to only disconnect the Webcam seperately ?

On the T-CON board, one of the small connectors (at right of LCD connector), is for webcam.

Please, do not quote an entire post, visible few centimeters above...
