Hello, first time troubleshooting this, not a trained shop person but a somewhat skilled muggle.

I have a A1707 no liquid damage with 5.18V - 0.035A draw from original charger:

- PP3V3_G3H: 0V
- D6902 pin 3: 4.94V

Suspect short on C6907: got 4.6v goin in, 0V going out. Full continuity to ground on D6902 pin 2. Full continuity to ground on PP3V3_G3H. Any way of testing the cap?

Any ideas?

Thank you for your time!

First of all, welcome to the forum!

"Full continuity to ground on D6902 pin 2. Full continuity to ground on PP3V3_G3H."
So you have short to ground on both 3V3_G3H and PPBUS_G3H.
Post exact resistance value (ohm scale).

Remove R6923 and check on which pad remains the short to ground.

I have exact same readings. PP3V3_G3H is 0,0V and PM_EN_P3V3_G3H is also 0,0V. ISL9239 is getting 5volts but no output on PM_EN_P3V3_G3H. Can we say that 100% the ISL9239 is bad, or is there also an enable signal for the ISL9239? No short found on PM_EN_P3V3_G3H and PP3V3_G3H
