A1707 right fan spin after palm rest swap.

I just swapped a palm rest on an a1707 15in macbook pro 2016. After the swap the fan on the right spins at max right when the computer is turned on. I have tried another palm rest, the original one, and a new fan it is still going full. My iphone board guy looked it over and saw what looked like a resistor labeled 2a2 that had solder balls coming out from under it. Thanks for any help!

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Post the 820-xxxxx code of your board.
Locate that "resistor" in boardview and replace it, if bad.

It is board 820-00928. Looking at the schematics the chip looks like R6907. Would this one cause the fan to spin high? Where can I get a chip to replace this one with?

R6907 is a 2.2 ohm resistor, which can be replaced just by a tiny wire; if no correct replacement available.
It is not fan related.
Machine works without R6907, but only with charger plugged in; will shutdown immediatelly when charger is disconnected.
Also will not turn on with battery alone.

Trackpad has some temp sensor.
You now have a bad trackpad board, or flex...
