A1708 820-00840-A no boot

Hi.

I have an A1708 820-00840-A with no boot. Just stays at the Apple logo.

When booting without a disk installed, it boots to the empty folder sign.

I've tried toinstall macOS in new disks, tried to boot from an USB disk, tried to enter in recover and disk utility, but always shows a forbidden sign on display.

Can you help?

So you can't acces Disk Utility?
Tried target disk mode?

Also, try to boot in safe mode.
If still the same, reflash the BIOS with clean ME.

Yes, I can't access Disk Utility, and I've already done target disk mode and safe boot without success.

Falshing a CLEAN ME, also didn't worked

Hi.

Client said it just stoped working.

After flashing cleanME one more time, now I can access disk utility and select boot disk, and start the OS install process. However, when installing new macOS, it hangs up on the 12 minutes remainging. I can still move the mouse, CAPS is working, vut the loading bar doesn't move any more. Already tried known good disk.

With an USB boot disk, it boots normaly.

Any idea?

Just in case, try heating with quality flux.

Hi.

I've lefted the installation process runing overnight, and by the morning it finished the installation. However, the system is extremely slow. and with the fan in full RPM.

Should I reflow the CPU anyway?

Start in diagnostic mode and see what error pops up.

You can also test disconnecting camera and changing trackpad board/flex.
