A1708 820-00840 no power

Hi.

I have an A1708 820-00840 that has 20V from ampmeter, but 0A.

PPBUS_G3H seams to be shorted, but I can't see nothing hot (injected 1.5V).

PPBUS_G3H = 0V
Diode reading on PPBUS_G3H = 0.002

Can you help?

Check (ohm scale) if you get same reading on any big coil.
Use 10-20A PSU, setting amp limit to max first.

I don't have a 10A PSU. But with my 5A PSU it only gets around 2A of consume with 1.5V injected

Did you set amp limit to max?
Even 3W should heat something on the board.
Use powerful cables; your interest is not heating the cables.
An IR cam may help you to find the culprit.

Yes, I set the amp limit to max (5A), and I already use the thermal cam, but I can't see nothing hot.

With the amp limit to 5A, injecting 1.5V, only consumes around 2A.

Shall I increase the voltage*?

Be sure first the short doesn't come from a secondary coil!!!
