Keep in mind, when change SSN in BIOS, you MUST fix checksum of Fsys area, to avoid such kind of problem you've got.

I said you "as is" just to be sure is BIOS issue.
Moddifying BIOS file incorrectly can even prevent machine to boot.
Is always better to try test file AS IS, to be sure is BIOS issue, or not.

Funny thing is, that first I have flashed bios as it was, without any modification. I've connected only display and as it booted fine I decided to change S/N before going on with assembling and further testing. I haven't tested keyboard then. Anyway, I managed to figure it out.

It can be a noob question, but can you please explain me how to correct checksum? I guess there is an editor, which recalculates new values to be the same with original one?
