A1708 Disappearing trackpad and keyboard at login

A real magic show

So when holding alt to select boot drive the trackpad and keyboard work a charm. Even Ubuntu has got it right.
The very moment it goes to OS login screen both keyboard and trackpad are disabled.

Things I have tried

*New KB Flex
*New Trackpad and Flex
*Inspecting for corrosion and any damaged joints.

Voltages are present as you can feel the trackpad clicking too.

Seems like mid boot that the caps key stops lightig up.

Anyone experienced this before and literally any advice would be greatly appreciated?

Once logged into OSX, SPI mode is activated.
Before that, PCH is accessed through USB.
Check any SPI related signals for trackpad.
