Hello,

USB-C meter does not power on, board appears bone dry

CD3215 chips both produce 3.3V and no unusual heat under thermal camera

injecting 1-8.6V into ppbus_g3h produces no amperage

D6905 Measurements:

1) 500mA -> Slowly decreasing (PPBUS_G3H)
2) 100mV -> Stable

please help me I'm still new to this :D

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Please post accurate information.
How do you get 3V3 on CD3215 chips, if USB-C meter stays black?
Do you really get black (no indication) USB-C meter ("does not power on"), or is stuck in 5V?

Never inject voltage into a power rail, before checking for short first.

No idea how to interpret your measurments to D6905.

Thank you for the welcome. it really does not power on, I was using a dc power supply connected to a usb-c end with 20V going into it, then I removed it and hooked up 1V to the g3H line and it draws insignificant amperage 0.007A

Don't do again such tests without reason.

"Do you really get black (no indication) USB-C meter...?"
If yes, the charger detects a problem with VBUS, or CC1/2 lines.
Check diode mode to ground at all LDO rails of CD3215 chips.
