A1932 Macbook Air 2018-2019 820-01521 J6100 Connector

Got this unit with a burned up J6100 connector. Has anyone had any luck replacing this connector? Any pointers on replacing (heat temp, etc)? Are the connectors available yet anywhere to purchase? I have a feeling this is going to be a normal issue with water damage on these. This is the 2nd one I've seen with this issue and I don't see these very often.

Thanks

Many pins there go directly to T2 chip.
I remember a thread where burnt connector ended in dead T2.
You should remove it first and check diode mode on affected lines.

After placing a little flux on the pins, I usually preheat the whole board with a heat gun (the kind you find at Lowe’s), before using the reflow station heat gun set at 350-365. Just be patient and also suggest trying this on a donor board first.

Awesome feedback!! I will try both. Does anybody know where to purchase the connector if it is available? Or are you just removing the connector from donor boards?

Thanks
