macbook in dfu state.
5v/0.043A. all 4 ports readings are the same with or without battery connected.
when trying to restore, different errors appear. 10, 1014, 9, etc.
PPBUS_G3H= 12.34v
did not turn on and the display was cracked and needed replacing. I installed my working test display but nothing worked. I checked if it was in the DFU since the behavior of the ports was the same and it was in the DFU. I tried to restore it but different errors occurred. I transferred the board to another case and the board turned on already from recovery. It was restored without errors! The MacBook is charging and the fans are spinning but the caps lock is not lit and there is no image on either the built-in or the internal display!
Replaced U4802 why?
Did you check its signals?
I said you have sensor problem, not chip.
If you need to replace the angle sensor, it must be paired with MLB by authorized Apple workshop.
Someone from Germany sell a device to reprogram it; Louis described it on his videos.
ANGLE_SENSOR_MGL=0,137v (not stable)
ANGLE_SENSOR_ND=1,8v
PP1V8_SLPS2R=1.8v
IPD_LID_OPEN=1.8v
I have several displays and several MacBooks, I have rearranged the display sensors, this does not help! I have rearranged them in my test case in which all the boards work, but this board does not start. I installed a blocked board in the old case and everything works! With the original cracked display, it also does not start! It just heats up and the fans spin, but the caps lock does not work.
"ANGLE_SENSOR_MGL=0,137v (not stable)"
This is a problem.
Check its trace from J4802 to U4802.
You can try to cut that trace and solder together pins 1 & 2 of U4802.
I don't understand how did you rearrange the sesnsors.
Each sensor is PAIRED with its MLB.
This will cause weird issues...
Usually the 820-01700 board is loaded onto an external monitor lying on the table and connected to a 100W USB source! But this one gets hot quickly but does not display images! So I'm not sure that we are moving in the right direction dancing around the built-in display sensor!
Bad info here--the lid angle sensor on the A2141 *DOES NOT* require any programming or pairing at all. Only the A2485/A2442/etc do. You can replace the A2141 lid sensor as much as you want without any other work.
