A2159 820-001598 Lid Issue

Hi,

Got this mac. Ther is no water damage. Customer just updated system and suddenly it started to not wake up sometimes when you open LID, also not turning off when i close it so battery getting 0% and after that it turns on with charger.

My question is where i can find lid sensor on this model?

Is there anything i can check???

The issue is random, not always.

This board (like many others) doesn't have one lid sensor, but two.
Left sensor (J4800) is placed on the MLB.
Right sensor is placed on the audio side.

If problem appeared after software upgrade, should be better to test reinstalling original macOS; start recovery with Shift+Command+Option+R.
