A2338 (820-02020) not charging

Some corossion near Df622.
Found PPVBUS_USBC0 shorted.
Removed DF622 short is gone.

PPVBUS_USBC1 also shorted.
Removed DF602 and short is gone.

Bad CD3217?

Did you check the LDOs?

3V3_UPC_LDOs and 1V5_UPC_LDO_CORE
both have good diode mode readings

But you get these voltages?

Yes i get the voltages too. The AMP meter turns on.
The device turns on too with just display connected. I dont know if it ll charge the battery or not.

DF622 and DF602 - important and need to be replaced.

These diodes usually get burnt using chinese replacement charger.

If you want to diagnose your battery, get NLBA1 analyzer; is the best for this purpose.
You can unlock blocked batteries; many original batteries I saved in this way.

Machine is working fine after replacing these diodes.

Recommend the client to use ORIGINAL Apple charger...
