A2338 M2 820-02773 5v 0.02ma. no any liquid damage, board is in pristine condition. i don't have any history of the macbook. i opened it first time.i don't have brd and shematics for this model. couldn't find on web. first i did visual inspection and i found blown capacitor and i checked and line was shorted.(don't know name of shorted line) after remove capacitor shor was gone but still 5v 0.02ma. now i am checking voltages ( i am using 820-02020 brd)

now i found same model working board and compared that line which was shorted and removed capacitor. working board have 5v and my faulty board have low voltage 2.2v. so as i think problem is coming still from there.in diode mode both have same resistance to ground 450.anyone know which line is this?

p.s now i checked UC710 and PP3v3S2_EN also have 0v instead of 1.8v. also i checked other working board and this board must have 20v on charger even if uc710 is removed.

thanks for info. i just bought that sw. so damaged capacitor was c8430. PP5V_MPMU_BSTLQ_XW. and now this line have 2.2v instead of 5v. i think its u8100 problem.can you advice me something else?

Compare diode mode to ground on that line with good board, if possible.
Also check all U8100's LDOs in page 38.

We don't have any certain information about M2 components compatibility yet.
For M1, PMUs are interchangeable for 14" and 16".

i checked and not same layout. so not same. but i dont have ipad m2 models layout maybe same. need to check that also. do you have any source fron where can i buy this ic ?

For new Macs, get scrap boards.
However, even that is not easy...
