A2442 - 820--02098 Not charging.

Hi, Good morning.
Please, I need some help with this repair.

It turns on only on battery, but it won't turn on when it runs out of battery.

C520D blown/melted (PPDCIN_AON_CHGR_R). Removed.
Diode mode readings to ISL appear correct compared with a working board.

PPDCIN_AON = 5V
PPDCIN_AON_CHGR_R = 5V.

All 3 ports are getting 20V - 0.03amp if the battery is connected.
Battery disconnected 5V - 0.03amp

I've replaced Q5240, Q5230 andSL9240 and the same issue.

Magsafe has the same behavior?

Do you get correct LDOs for all CD3217 chips?

Magsafe works fine and charges the Mac.
All 3 USB-C ports are not working.

The readings from all 4 CD3217 matches a working board.

So your problem is related with USB-C channels.
May have bad CD3217 chip; or some resistor, or trace.

Are these cd32 serialized, or I can replace than individually?

Must be from same donor board, maintaing the original position.

I've replaced all CD3217 and everything is working.
