Ive made the mistake of trying an older 16inch screen on a new M4 MacBook and the Wifi no longer turns on.
I had connected the camera flex and the angle sensor.
As there are no schematics available for the M4 logic board 820-03348 (A3186) I can only look for diode mode values on the M1 and M4 screens and do a pin for pin comparison. This shows a couple of lines will have been shorted out on the logic board's camera and possibly angle sensor.
How does this damage the WiFi? Is the WiFi chip itself damaged or another circuit damaged? Is it repairable? Logic board replacement is extremely expensive!
