A2485 battery not recognized

Battery sign shows X and fans spinning high. Apple HWT result says "might be something wrong with charger" but I do have an orange light and shows charge sign before login to user account. Looks like no data communication is happening, do these have SMC chip or does the battery talk to the T2 chip? I have tried a new battery, same result. Any tips? Will remove the board and check for issues.

SMC functions are embedded into M1 CPU.

Check SYS_DETECT and SYS_DETECT_L voltage.
May have problems with U5150, or Q5150.
Also check diode mode to ground on SCL/SDA lines.

I found the issue, some liquid near cPU on SDA lines, pulled a wire and working thanks!
