Hello,

I have two MacBook Pro A2779 models that are having the same issue.

They won't turn on there's no display but I can put them into DFU mode. However, I can't restore them, and the data on them is important.

I tried to restore one of them, but I got an error message.

When I take it out of DFU mode, there’s no display, but my computer's power consumption is normal

Have you ever seen this issue before?

If DFU restore failed, then data should still be there.

If current consumption looks good, check for external video.
Also check if Caps Lock LED reacts.

I'm still having the same problem on one of them, and I've already swapped out the NANDs I took from a MacBook A2681.

I installed the NANDs I took from the A2681 in the same slots on the A2779, so:

- UN000 on UN000

- UN100 on UN100

Should this work?

Because when I restore, I still get an error. Do you think there’s something else I’m missing?
