A2941 no ext. keyboard trackpad working

I am working on an A2941 with liquid damage to the trackpad. The computer boots up without issues when the trackpad is disconnected. The internal keyboard does not work. Likewise, an external keyboard and trackpad or mouse do not work. Is this normal for this model? Does the internal trackpad need to be connected? Or should a USB-C keyboard work even without the trackpad?

Internal KB requires good TP connected.

External KB should work; did you test on all ports?

Yes, on both USB-C Ports with two different keyboards, one mouse and one ext. Trackpad - nothing works. I also tried to disconnect the daughterboard from the Logicboard. So I have to check now the logic board? The USB-C Ports had also Liquide Damage.

FYI - When I connect the ext. keyboard or trackpad or mouse there comes a message that I have to unlock to use accesories.

Find a proper TP for test.
To be sure nothing else is affected on the MLB.
Try also known good TP flex.
