A3113 Air with lid angle sensor issue

A3113 MacBook Air, came in with a bad screen, damage to the interposer flex cable connector, and a visibly burnt LT203 (PP3V8_AON).
After replacement of the display, interposer cable, and LT203 the machine was functional but I noticed that closing the lid did not put the machine to sleep. I replaced the lid angle sensor with a brand-new one and used Tahoe's Repair Assistant to program/calibrate it. That appeared to be successful but closing the lid still does not sleep the machine.

What am I missing?

Hold on, is there one or are there two sensors for lid position? I see that this model has an AMR_1V8 line and iI think it's connected to an older-style magnetic Hall effect sensor. A2681 (2022) did away with this sensor in favor of LAS, but in this model A3113 (2024) both sensors are present. Correct?

Ah, yes. Mystery solved. I had replaced the display with a A2681 screen since they are otherwise fully compatible. But it's missing the embedded magnet to trigger the open/close sensor (AMR_1V8 stays at 1.8V).

As a workaround, I shorted the two lid position sensors together with a jumper wire. Now when the lid is closed, the input from the LAS brings both inputs to UR300 to ground.
