Air A2237 with WiFi drops and disconnects (820-02016)

This 820-02016 board works perfectly except that the WiFi connection intermittently drops, see screenshot from NetSpot. How can I troubleshoot this issue and is replacing the WiFi chip a simple option on this board?

Note: it seems that only the 2.4GHz bands are affected; the 5GHz bands show steady connectivity.

Keep using it with 5GHz.
WiFi chip is paired with CPU; it can't be replaced alone.

In any case, the issue went away after I swapped out the WiFi antenna... never seen a bad WiFi antenna before but that was it.
