the model is la-g881p. someone attempted to replace the keyboard and after reassembling it, the board showed power briefly and then no power at all. It looks very clean with no burns of anything. I checked capacitors and I didn't find any with paths the ground on both sides. when the battery and the chargers are plugged in I get 3v and 5v on PL301 and PL302. 12 v is on the battery terminal. 16v is on PL111 and PL112. Will this board power up without the DGFF graphics card attached?
pin 1 of DH1 is 3v. re70 is 3v on both sides. PBTN_OUT# doesn't react at all to pressing the power button. I don't have the dgff graphics card attached
Possibly EC ROM corruption.
I didn't see information about KB9542 yet.
May be programmed in some way like KB9x12, I hope; you should try.
The big problem is to find corresponding file...
PBTN_OUT# should react for sure, without graphics card.
Without its reaction, PCH will not start power on sequence.
At the moment, seems to have problems with KBC, which controls this signal.
KB9012/22 have dedicated pins for flashing.
These pins are fixed on the chip, but their place on keyboard connector differs, depending on board model. Supposing KB9542 uses the same pins, find their distribution on the keyboard connector.
Then use Vertyanov, SVOD, or RT809H for programming.
