Macbook Pro A2141 with corrosion around R9581/C9582 (U9580 BGA chip exterior). Used to pull 19.5V 0.39/0.4A draw, often dropping to 0A and going back up to 0.4A again with Type-C power; the T2 gets warm but nothing else really happens.

U9580 gets hot - around 70C, with ISP evaporating almost instantly when added but no other components exhibit this behavior. Narrowing this down is difficult since this area of the board gets quite hot as a result. Tried injecting 1V into PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 and it draws 0.5A with nothing getting warm as far as the thermal camera can see (though it might just be me being a noob at voltage injection). No SSD chips get warm or have visual defects.
Considered replacing the U9580 BGA, but wanted to exhaust every other possibility before resorting to BGA.
With the board back in the laptop: 11.3v 0.85a going down to 0a and back again, all 4 ports. T2 warm, trackpad clicks, no chime no fan spin.
I have uploaded labelled thermal images of both sides of the affected area.
