Best Practices for Removing SMD Connectors from Logic Boards?

I was able to remove the replacement connector without damaging it (hot air at 375C) but I looked at the other logic board and there are components (a resistor in particular) on the opposite side of the board. Should I replace the resistors that I hit directly with hot air?

I don't think; resistors are very resistant to heat.
