So bit of an odd question going on in the workshop, sorry if this sort of question is not allowed
We have an 820-01598 and we haven't really worked on them much, but we have noticed the USB-C port controllers are CD3217s instead of CD3215s - Are there's actually compatible so if I had a bad CD3217 can I put a CD3215 on instead? Have searched the forum but found nothing about this - currently going through whatever data sheets that are available on these two ICs to see if there are any noticeable differences but can't seem to see anything jump out about them.
