Charge rates for iPhones

Usually I only fix androids, rarely iPhones. Lately I am getting lot of them from other shops. Very few have mobo problems, most are lcds, ports, audio jack and tristar chips.

how much should I charge for these repairs? Considering that these are not final customers

Totally depends on where you are located. Also I would NOT take iPhone 6 as you will get too many returns with touch cancer.

Just my two cents but the most problematic iphones are the iphone 6 plus (not 6S plus). They have the grey line syndrome. This is where you see a thin line at the very top of the LCD and the touch stops responding. then it works fine. There are many fixes offered on forums and such but in the end it's not worth messing with.

Using cheap low quality parts guarantees head aches with redo's and warranty on any model of iPhone.

The price you charge depends upon your competition. My rule is that when I get too busy I raise the prices. $50 over parts+shipping+expect warranty and rebreaks Using high quality parts costs more and you charge more +plus a premium but you have far fewer returns.

The risk factor.... Androids such as S6 and newer have glass backs. A large percentage of these backs break removing them. The paint on the front of many of the newer Notes and Galaxy S series comes off with the front glass along the top, so a battery or charge port issue will often times cause you grief if the customer is not told what to expect with with the paint delamination issues.

I know that. I always destroy the back cover and put a new one every time I open one. Saves times and headaches. Bought a stock for cheap
