Dead A1932 – 820-0521 pulling 0,16Aat 5,19V on top usb-c port, botton port is dead. Client says it had been dropped many times, On corner is bent, so more likely a heavy drop happened recently.

PPBUS_G3H: 0.465
PP5vG3S: 0.417
PP3v3_G3S: 0.344
PP1v8_G3S: 0.333
PP3v_G3H: 0.393

Thermal imaging: CPU is getting hot when power jack is connected. Fixable?

Thanks in advance.

"botton port is dead"
Possibly broken traces on this port; or bad CC1/2 lines.
Compare diode mode readings around U3100/200.

The above readings are in diode mode, or voltage?

The readings are in diode mode on test points, if taken in voltage mode it's 0.00 on all of them. Priority is to make machine workable even if the bottom port stays dead, one charge port is fine. The CPU getting hot is a big concern, I think. Aside from port what should I do to make this MacBook work? Thanks.

Very likely machine doesn't boot with one dead port.
Normally will not switch to 20V on the other port.
So compare the readings, as I said.

S-UEM2 is very helpfull in this case.

I also recommend to test with known good USBC terminals.

- I have tested all capacitors around U3100/200, they are good.
- I don't have S-UEM2, will get it soon.
- CC1/2 are good too.
- Why CPU is getting hot?
Thanks
