Glue and connectors

As my previous post disappeared, another attempt: I have a board here with a ripped off fan connector that took the pads clean off. I'll have to run lil jumper wires to each pin, which should be doable, but I'd like to secure the connector itself in place. I have regular superglue, but I'm sure there's something better than that stuff.. I'd also like a way to secure jumper wires, as I cant always wrap them around components. Tips be welcome!

Kapton tape is fine, but I dont want to rely on that keeping a connector in place on a board.

aprendiz thanks, thats what I was looking for.

Looks like you need to be careful with those pens, datasheet info says, among other things:

Highly flammable liquid and vapor.
Causes serious eye irritation.
May cause drowsiness and dizziness.

I'm not gonna be inhaling that if I can help it, and I'll hold off on any vigorous eyerubbing.

I ended up ordering CW2500 (two syringes, needs mixing) just before aprendiz replied, turns out to be similar stuff to whats inside those pens, but it can withstand a much higher temperature. Should some soldering or hot air be required after using this epoxy, I can do it without ruining my work. Tested on a donor board for both a jumper wire and two connectors. I cured it at 100 celcius for 10 mins, and its pretty solid right now. I couldn't pry the connectors off with tweezers, and thats good enough for me.
In fact, I can barely get the stuff off the board without damaging it, so its pretty solid.

I've used too much on both connectors, and some of the stuff was too close to the tape I used to secure the wire to the board. The epoxy slid underneath it, creating nasty looking spots. No harm from that though, just looks messy. I used too much on the connectors, so it crawled inside of those too, making one inoperable and the other difficult to move. Is that why you use the glue instead? I'll use less epoxy next time.

we use some sort of green paste or UV cure paste at our workshop. They call them green oil.
