[help]820-01521 WATER DAMAGED

HELP! audio board+its flex+powerbtn flex water damaged (an hole on audio board)!!! chnged both, but i have 5v on both ports:


here some measurements

ppbus_g3h 12,29v
PP3V3_G3H 3,29v
pp3v3_upc_xa_ldo pp3v3_upc_xb_ldo 3,27v
PP1v8_UPC_XB_LDOD PP1v8_UPC_XA_LDOA 1,8v
PP1v8_UPC_XA_LDOD PP1v8_UPC_XA_LDOa 1,8v
PP1V1_UPC_XA_LDO PP1V1_UPC_Xb_LDO 1,1v

with battery connected, as soon as i connect the cable, i see direclty 20v, but stuck at 0,0250

T2 possibly damaged by overvoltage through its data lines connected to audio board.
Check diode mode to ground at SPKRAMP_RESET_L and SPKRAMP_INT_L.

Several people reported working machines, only missing audio, after audio board/flex corrosion.
As your own doesn't even turn on, there must be more damage.
Even if you fix that, still no sound at the end; is it worth to continue?

BTW, did you test the MLB with audio flex disconnected?

It is not in dfu mode, i've tried to force it to go to dfu mode, but watching the amp meter, is like nothing happens...

i've done a lot of try and sometimes it goes to 20v like in the video, but nothing happens.

there must be something to check!!

You may have problems with power button, caused by corrosion.
External switch method is the best option.
However not easy in this case, as you don't have pads for SOC_FORCE_DFU.
You should find proper points to solder some wires and connect the switch.
Also good to use another switch for PMU_ONOFF_L, disconnecting audio flex.
