Hey everyone. have a problem with Macbook Air 820-3208 1. No chime 2. Audio icon showing Computer works fine otherwise. Any suggestions? thank you

i change sound board and cable i get sound with ear phone but not speakers

when i plug in headset they work and it show headphone when i unplug it shows internal; speakers but no sound i don't get a chime at boot

Do PRAM reset to recover chime.

Try another speakers too.

Be sure to use the correct LIO board for this model.

i tried 2 io boards i get the same thing

Check PVDD and SHDN* at U6210.

pvdd is 5.1v and shdn is 0v

I said SHDN*.
That "*" means something.
In theory, this signal should be high; low level means enabled, no sound (shoutdown).
The thing is that outside name is R_SPKRAMP_SHDN and then should really be 0V.

However, already found an error (signal name) about an audio reset on Apple schematics.
You should compare that value with an working board.

i fixed it i reflode the u6210 now it has sound thank again i really appreciate your help i wouldn't be able to fix these machines with out your help
