Permanently disabling GPU is no problem anymore; just get Tiresias module.

Question: what is Tiresias module?? Is it same as dying light module from doslabs? I have bypassed gmux on few machines and i am looking for a way to control brightness

Tiresias is a "fast mod" to disable GPU.

Dying light module allows backlight adjust, after GPU was previously disabled...

Tiresias mod doesn't need that module.
Backlight adjust will work normally.
And Tiresias can be get for very good price, in quantity...
