how to troubleshoot memory chips

i have a playstation 5 with faulty gddr6 memory.. the resistance on the power rail is very low but when i inject 1.5 volts it doesn't draw more amperage than a good working board. is there a way to single out the faulty chip without removing all of them? it has 8 of them. Could I damage it if i inject 3volts?

3V is far to high.
What is the exact ohm resistance there?
Big difference comparing with good board?

If resistance to ground is not very low, voltage injection doesn't help; maybe IR cam can help.
Lift the coil from corresponding power supply and check which size remains with lower value.

i removed the ic , the mosfet and the coil. the low resistance is on the rail itself. IT was 30 ohms resistance then i inject 1.7v and then it went to 42 ohms. it only draws 0.2amps and that is what it does on a perfectly working board

You can post diode mode reading on that power rail, from good board.
Just in case someone else need it.
