imac was taken in for cleaning and thermal paste replacement, came back in 2 weeks later no power. we checked all around and we could not find any missing components or damage on it. eventually through all the motherboard in and out from the case L6170 and L6160 came off, ill put them back later.... but i don't think this has anything to do with power or the recovery process. I'll like to add I tried another SSD.

please advise

L6160/70 can't impede the machine to boot.

You may have problems with the SSD connectors.
Check for knocked off component, or broken trace.

so i checked all around the board specially SSDs area I don't see missing components or tracks. i checked PP3V3_G3W_SSD0 line its 0v all the time except when i run restore, it goes high at 3v. I assume SSD are getting power. please advice

What macOS do you have on the host machine?
Where AC2 is running.

Any idea what macOS is on the target (iMAC)?
